Homebreds

Villabella (by Hernando) and Nut (by Fasliyev), have both made promising starts at stud. Villabella's first foal Vallila ia now a Classic winner in Spain. A first-crop daughter of Dunkerque, she ran five times in 2013 as a two-year-old for a win and two runner-up finishes when trained by Roger Charlton. Sold at the horses-in-training sale, she is now with Oscar Anaya, for whom she won the Premio Valderas (Spanish 1,000 Guineas) in Madrid on 13 April 2014 after also winning the Premio Atlantida (1,000 Guineas Trial). Villabella's second foal El Campeon is now the winner of six races for Simon Dow, while her third foal, Prince Alay, was also bought to race in Spain and won there on debut at two.

Nut has produced two winners, including Rex Kalejs, a winner at two, three and four in Sweden. In 2013, her Multiplex yearling topped Book 4 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale and she now has a stunning colt foal from the first crop of Heeraat. We have also invested in some young mares in the last few years and own Plebeya (Dubawi) in partnership with William, as well as High Will (High Chaparral) and Amami (Peintre Celebre). Plebeya's first foal, Prost won on his second start at Deauville for Ed Vaughan. She has an Anodin filly and is in foal to Kendargent, while High Will has a Sri Putra filly and is in foal to Helmet. Recent acquisitions from this recent round of sales include the maidens Irrevocable (Big Bad Bob) and the beautifully bred Wertheimer filly Patienta (More Than Ready), as well as another well-bred young mare from Quesnay, named Salome (Fuisse). We have also bought Vallila back from her Spanish owner and both she and Irrevocable will go to Bobby's Kitten in 2017.
