Impressive debut victory for Norris Bloodstock pinhook

Justice Lady looks to be a smart filly for David Elsworth and Robert Ng after winning easily on debut at Lingfield over five furlongs.

After missing the break, she started to gather in the leaders from the two-furlong mark and responded gamely to Martin Lane’s urgings to pass the post with three-quarters of a length in hand.

By Ballylinch Stud sire Dream Ahead, the filly was our first choice from from the 2013 Goffs November Foal Sale for €40,000. We then resold her as a yearling (pictured right) to Suzanne Roberts for 55,000gns at Tattersalls in the same October draft as last year’s leading British juvenile and dual Group 1 winner Shalaa.

We look forward to more to come from the game Justice Lady ad we’re extra pleased that her victory has provided a nice update for Chris Murray and Nicky Howarth of Whitwell Bloodstock, who bought her Epaulette half-sister at Goffs last year. Every little helps!
